LOGISTICS AND FUEL AVAILABILITY
The reliability of our operation begins with a robust fuel supply chain. Coal logistics are supported by a Jetty facility with 10.000 DWT capacity and an extensive Coal Yard area (35.000). These facilities ensure optimal storage and transfer of coal from Sumatra and Kalimantan, maintaining uninterrupted plant availability.
DUAL UNIT OPERATION: 2 X 65 MW STABILITY
PLTU Tanjung Kasam operates with an integrated dual unit system: Unit #1 (65 MW) and Unit #2 (65 MW). This dual system provides vital operational redundancy, allowing maintenance on one unit without sacrificing the entire power supply, thus ensuring the stability of the 130 MW network at all times.
TECHNOLOGY AND NETWORK QUALITY STANDARD
The reliability of our power supply is supported by world-class technical specifications. The main power generator is supplied by SHANDONG JINAN POWER EQUIPMENT COMPANY. Network quality control is strictly executed 24/7, ensuring every megawatt of power delivered to PT PLN Batam is always stable and meets the required standards.
SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
We are fully committed to environmentally friendly operations. The management of fly ash (FABA) waste and air emission control is strictly implemented, exceeding set quality standards. This commitment is proven by achieving the PROPER Blue rating from KLHK since 2019.
